If you love baking, why not put your skills to the test in the Great Merseyside Bake Off?

As part of this year’s Liverpool Food & Drink Festival, TV’s Great British Bake-off judge Paul Hollywood is returning to his Merseyside roots to find the region’s best amateur bakers.

All you have to do is bake your best cake, let us have a photo and a brief description, and the top 12 bakers will be invited to take part in a live bake off.

Paul will be appearing on both Saturday and Sunday.
