Lanson Champagne Marquee
Lanson International will be showcasing some of our exciting Champagnes during the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival. These will include;
Lanson White Label, a new style of Champagne that is fresh, zesty and refreshing, but with a softer off dry character that makes it incredibly drinkable. Lanson White Label is a more informal style of Champagne suitable for any occasion and for drinking at any time of day. Its sweeter style permits experimenting with fruit to further enhance the wonderful flavours.
Many Champagne claim to be good with food, but only one was made for it. Besserat de Bellefon was founded in 1843 in Ay, but 1930 marked an historic turning point for the house. A Parisian restaurateur challenged the Champagne producer to created a Champagne that could be served throughout a meal. The result was a lower pressure Champagne with tiny bubbles, a very fine mousse and a creamier texture, making it the perfect partner with food. Today there are five Champagnes in the range all to be enjoyed with food.
Visit the Lanson Bar to learn what makes these Champagnes so different to others and try them for yourself.
